Polypad is amazing. David Poras: thanks so much for your videos. Your students are lucky to have you as a teacher. I have noticed that some simple nets - particularly those involving triangles - do not fold completely, and other nets are considered 'illegal' but they are fine (and I've snapped to grid). Is there any detailed documentation to guide teachers and students? I think this is an amazing tool, but I'm concerned students will become very frustrated if they are told nets aren't 'legal' when they are just fine.

Where am I?

Hello! Thanks for your comments. One suggestion is to ensure any triangles you make are indeed congruent if needed. It sounds like you were trying to make sure by snapping to the grid. We are aware of some complicated nets that don't fold as they should. If you come across any that are of this type, please email the Polypad link to support@mathigon.org9. Thanks!
